A Certified Mushroom Identification Expert - Phillip has been hunting and identifying mushrooms in Iowa for half a decade. Having identified well over 100 species, he decided to take his skills to the next level and got his certificate from Iowa State University as a wild foraged mushroom identification expert. Since then he has led many mushroom forays for groups large and small and led several school field trips to share his passion about the mushroom kingdom with students and educators.
